PRACTICE EXPERIENCE 1992-2002: Community Hand and Plastic Surgeon. Orange Co., California.
After completing 7.5 yrs of training, I began solo practice affiliated with a community trauma center. I performed hand, lower extremity, and facial reconstructive surgery. I moved my family to Oregon for a better career opportunity at OHSU and for the lifestyle of the Northwest.
2002-2005: University Hand and Plastic Surgeon at OHSU. Portland, Oregon.
I was hired by the division of plastic surgery to help run the hand and microsurgery program at OHSU. I continued to do hand and extremity reconstructive surgery, and enjoyed the opportunity to teach students at all levels.
2005 to Present: Community Hand and Plastic Surgeon. Portland, Oregon.
In anticipation of opening my new office location in the pearl district, I spent a year doing additional training in orthopedic hand surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. I feel fortunate to now provide service to Portland at many of the community hospitals. |
